WTech will assemble tactical vehicles in Jalisco

WTech confirmed an investment of 180 million dollars for the construction of a plant in Jalisco, which will be dedicated to the production of tactical, security and transport vehicles.
The assembly of these units is from the Dutch company Defenture BV , it will help with the transfer of specialized technology for the development of these cars to provide confidence and stability in the region; Therefore, this capital injection stands out as the largest automotive financing of this country in Mexico.
The new factory of the Mexican company will produce more than 1,000 tactical vehicles in its first stage , generating around 900 direct jobs and just over 3,600 indirect ones.
The manufacturing complex will have the highest quality standards and international certifications, which promotes innovation and cutting-edge technology.
Ramón Richard Mora, general director of WTech , highlighted that these units have a construction with a robust design, with practicality, mobility and are suitable for any survival situation.
During the event it was announced that it is the first Mexican company to assemble cars with this concept, and the construction of the plant will take 18 months.
Likewise, the company will collaborate with Kia 's military division , with the aim of turning Mexico into a potential market in the medium term for the development of tactical and security products.
WTech is an official dealer for Kia Motor , both for tactical units and for 'Granbird' city buses , a high-end range sold in selected regions.
The Mexican company whose main interest is to promote national technical talent and generate the best tactical , security and transportation products for the national, US, Canadian, Latin American and the rest of the world markets.
WTech will support other national companies by giving them priority as local producers, for the direct purchase of raw materials, or small or medium-scale production of the parts necessary for the assembly of tactical vehicles, as long as they meet quality standards and international certifications.
