Metelmex , a company dedicated to the manufacture of metalworking products such as railings, stairs, hot-dip galvanizing services, among others, announced that it will invest 15 million dollars to increase its production by 100% at its plant in Frontera, Coahuila.

This project is driven by the high demand for their products, so they expect their operations to be working at full capacity in January 2023.

Likewise, Isidro Ruiz Olivares, general director of the company, said that they will build a new industrial warehouse for the installation of their production lines and that they will generate 480 new jobs .

He said that despite the ravages of the pandemic, they have been experiencing growth in recent years, so the conditions for this new commitment exist.

“We did not have many effects on our activities, neither in 2019 when there was a crisis in the Central Region of Coahuila nor in 2020 with the pandemic, the only thing that caused us some kind of problem was the shortage of raw material, so we have the certainty that our expansion will consolidate the organization”, he explained.

The plant is present in some states such as Nuevo León, Sonora, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas, Campeche, Tabasco, Mexico City, Jalisco and Chihuahua ; In addition, they also have a distribution center in Houston, Texas.
