Marelli inaugurates its Business Center for Latin America in Aguascalientes

The Marelli  company inaugurated its Business Center for Latin America (Global Business Services America GBS), in which more than 300 professionals collaborate who will control multiple activities of the plants of this company in countries such as the United States, Brazil and Mexico. 

Ricardo Pérez Figueroa, general director of Marelli GBS América , announced that this business center began operations in 2019 with 45 employees in another of its plants in the entity and later, activities began in this space located within the Tres Centurias complex in where 312 people already work.

It should be noted that Marelli  is a company dedicated to the development of new technologies and components for the automotive industry . In addition, the GBS located in Aguascalientes is one of the three existing worldwide. 

During this event, Martín Orozco Sandoval, governor of the state of Aguascalientes, assured that they have sought to promote economic diversification, and Marelli is an example of this, because with this new Business Center , specialized and value-added jobs are generated, recruiting local profiles from different areas. 

He thanked this Japanese-Italian firm for once again trusting in Aguascalientes, highlighting that the work he undertook in his six-year term focused on generating security, social development and quality of life conditions so that more companies would invest in the entity.
