IMPRO will settle in San Luis Potosi

IMPRO Americas will be settled in the World Trade Center II industrial
Park (WTC,) on a property land of 227,000 square meters, with the objective of
its high technological development allows it to be one of the highest
manufacturing niches in the world.
The investment of the foundry and machining factory of components for
the automotive and aerospace industry was of 120 million dollars.
The project will be fulfilled in three years, they anticipate to
generate more than 2,500 jobs and the San Luis Potosi plant will be the 16th of
the company.
Ina Wang, president of IMPRO Americas, underlined that the company
grants comprehensive solutions to industry leaders, it has 15 production
facilities, nine sales offices, eight logistics centers and more than 7,000
workers around the world.
Meanwhile, Mert Yilmaz, vice-president of the group and executive
director of the project, said that the complex will be built in two phases, the
first one consists in accurate machining plants; sand and reversal foundry;
secondary and cleaning machining, plating cleaning, END and other special
processes, as well as a surface treatment plant.
The second phase observes the expansion of capability, adapted to the
customer needs and market demand.
During the placement of the commemorative plate, Gustavo Puente Orozco,
secretary of Economic Development, underlined that the company is the
seventh-largest independent manufacturer of reversal foundry in the world and
the most important in China, which generates signs of trust regarding the
growth and dynamism of SLP economy.
Gustavo Puente Orozco said that 42 % of IMPRO sales are produced in
North America, followed by Europe with 32 % and in third place Asia with 26
percent.
