Carrier and Stiva opened a new CEDIS at Santa Catarina Stiva Park

The company Carrier Enterprises launched the operations of its new Distribution Center (CEDIS, by its Spanish initials) in the Santa Catarina Stiva Park of Nuevo Leon, which was granted by Stiva Industrial.

For the opening event of this great project which measures 146,254 ft2, which gathered more than 30 people from Carrier and Stiva staff, who were participants of the ribbon-cutting fulfilled by Manuel Gutierrez, general director of Carrier and Elias Laniado, director of Industrial Developments in Stiva.

“We thank Stiva for the delivery in time of the new Distribution Center of Carrier Mexico, located at Carrier Campus in Monterrey, in the municipality of Garcia,” said Gutierrez.

He explained that the facilities have the highest construction standards and they will allow serving its customers more efficiently and joining efforts together with the five factories located in it.

“Carrier presence in Mexico has a history of more than 70 years and we think it has been renewed and consolidated in this new stage. Nowadays we have a work team focused on exceeding the customers’ expectations and in strengthening our link with the distributors' chain serving the Mexican market. The space is designed to receive our customers, suppliers and friends, and that the experience of knowing it is a favorable point of the brand preference,” said the general director.

 

EFFICIENT FACILITIES

The new offices are equipped following the current efficiency criteria with open spaces, with an air conditioning system of the VRF Toshiba line, which guarantees savings in electric energy expenses.

The new Distribution Center, located in the Santa Catarina Stiva Park, will allow Carrier to support its customers in a more effective manner and for many more years.

“We are pleased and satisfied to grow with our strategic partner Carrier again. It was a joint effort to reach a design that fulfills everything its operation requires to achieve success. We thank the confidence and we are committing to continue by your side during this new stage in their company,” said Elias Laniado, director of Industrial Developments in Stiva.

Meanwhile, Gladys Lopez, senior manager of Operations, said that the new Distribution Center offers an operation settled in frontal design, of hybrid warehouse with roofed building components and exterior yard with control access and independent security, which allows a more efficient logistics by keeping the range of products on one physical location.

“The building has easy and direct access to receive international merchandise and national distribution, its proximity with the manufacturing campus of Carrier is an operative saving in goods transportation expenses between plants and Distribution Center,” she ended.
