Brose will invest more than 400 million pesos to expand its operations in Querétaro

The Brose company will invest 404 million pesos to expand its operations in Querétaro . The expansion will generate 110 highly specialized jobs.

Said investment materialized during the tour that the governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, is currently making through Europe , in the company of a delegation of businessmen and government officials. 

“We have just closed an investment to expand one of the plants. They are 400 million pesos, 110 jobs. […] We are talking so that they can bring more investment in a new project that they have for the Bajío and we are doing everything possible so that they go to Querétaro , ”said the Querétaro president, through a press release.

During this tour, Kuri González  met with the CEO of Brose Sitech , Thomas Spangler , with whom he exchanged perspectives to find new collaboration opportunities, which include promoting educational programs and specialized training centers in the automotive sector .

Likewise, the governor announced the consolidation of another growth plan by the German company in Querétaro, which will be carried out in conjunction with Volvo . Said project consists of the acquisition of an 800T Servornechanich press , which will be installed in the Aerotech Industrial Park , located in the municipality of Colón.

Brose  owns three plants in Querétaro , which manufacture window regulators, HVAC blowers, cooling fans, electronic brake system actuators, drive train actuators, lift gates, and seat components for the automotive industry .



The delegation from Querétaro began its working tour of Europe with the inauguration of the Querétaro pavilion at the Hannover Messe 2022 industrial fair , which takes place in said German city and in which different countries and important representatives of the industry participate at an international level.

This participation will allow the state to exhibit the results of the collaborative work of the triple helix model , in which academia, industry and the government link competencies in the consolidation of transformation and development projects, said the president.
